This is a house that required an interior upgrading. The intervention focused on the ground floor, which had an inadequate distribution, with limited space and little sunlight. We proposed to slightly extend the living room area and include the presence of the inner garden through a large glass glazing. This way, the outdoor vegetation becomes a true "fourth wall" from the inside. The kitchen is also modified, being partially incorporated to the living room. The interior spatial effect is fluid and open, close to the concept of a loft. The opposite happens in the upper floors where we keep the divisions between bedrooms, with slight variations, to ensure privacy and independence. Outside we chose to extend the existing porch in the transverse direction, dividing the garden in two: a dry and calm environment for an olive tree and a wet and lush vegetation prairie around the pool.
