    Abstract:

The site proposed to place the hotel, is a site in the highest part of the town of Castuera. Because of this, the building will function also as the promontory topping. The plot, with a steep slope, has an elongated shape in which two levels seemed to be exist already in the form of natural terraces, one on top and another five feet below and almost vertical slope in between. This physical condition is crucial in the solution which in essence is based on: - Importance of the views. The building looks from the height out to the landscape - The slope and the elongated shape of the site, leads to a longitudinal scheme, adapted to the terrain and distributed in terraces. - The implementation of the program, we determined that each activity area is situated in a different terrace (reception, bar/restaurant/pool and rooms) The final image of the complex is the result of smaller volumes addition that dialog with the scale of the nearby dwellings.
