The building is conceived as a square base, solved on a single floor, which gathers all the program functions. This floor, of uniform height, is embedded in the ground, leaving just its flat roof protrude over the ground floor like a plinth. From this base building some bodies emerge with different heights, corresponding to the main uses of the complex, from which the auditorium volume is highlighted. Also a few voids traverse this main floor vertically in the form of courtyards. The main entrance is solved by a pedestrian ramp in a sort of ceremonial walk into the building. The building is embedded in the ground both in plan and section. A large central courtyard allows natural light to illuminate the floor so all the activity gravitates around it, with the option of being open or closed depending on the season. The complex is topped with a flat roof, on which stands a continuous still water layer that acts as a bioclimatic regulator.
