Two requirements were part of the competition: The use of natural light and the location of storage space on the main facades. The entrances and common areas are located on the ground floor, whereas the specific use areas are situated in the remaining upper floors. Floor from first to fifth, are configured in two parallel blocks connected by a vertical communications core and toilets, which achieves an optimal use of natural light. An 8x8m constant structural grid allows upper floors to have a single corridor, offering open-plan offices. Facades are defined according to their orientation and indoor use, combining storage areas with window glazing, on a balance of light and opacity along all facades. The glazed areas alternate with areas of horizontal composition lighting, while vertical views are protected from sun exposure by façade bodies like a shade prompting horizontally or vertically.
