These two houses had to fulfil the following prerequisites. 1. Symmetry (equal)2. Light and natural light in all rooms (including basement). 3. Hip roof. 4. Shared Pool. 5. Maximum optimization of the site. 6. Dark brown brick facade. Proposal: Two courtyards in each home that traverse vertically all the floors, basement included, which work as "light wells". Large window glazing at the corners for additional visual connection with the outside. Metallic structure hidden inside the facade walls. Large kitchen and living room with direct access to the side porch. Spatial relief at the entrance and living room with high ceilings Cantilevered roof, conceived as an independent unit that protects from extreme weather the rest of the building.
